Earlier today, CIRS Princpal Mr Anurag Sangal officialy announced his retirement at the Morning Assembly. He joined CIRS in 2001 as Professor of Economics and took over as Prinicpal in the Winter of 2001. We wish him the very best.

Hari Om and Namaskar !

The entire CIRS Family sends you greetings and seeks your good wishes as we embark upon the new Academic Year. This New Year shall come with the following change:

1.            My tenure at CIRS is expiring and I shall be leaving at the end of this term ie May 31, 2009.

Anuradha and I shall be relocating to our hometown of Dehra Dun. We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for your co-operation, regard and respect for us.

2.        Smt Shanti Krishnamurthy, M Sc (Maths), B Ed, M Ed - an eminent educationist with over 25 years of experience including more than a decade of leading prestigious schools including the Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur and the Mahindra World School, Chennai shall be the new Principal of CIRS.

           She has had a long association with the Chinmaya Mission and is a contributing member of the CCMT Education Cell which guides all the 77 schools and 8 colleges of the Chinmaya Education Movement.

3.         CIRS shall continue on its journey towards excellence with -

- Dr Chandra Kant Taneja heading the Administration and Finance as Chief Administration and Finance Officer

- Smt Jaya Ravi Sankar as Headmistress

- Sri E Venkataragavaraj as IB Diploma Coordinator

and the blessings of Param Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda, Head of Chinmaya Mission as well as Chairman of CIRS and the guidance of Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, Director-in-charge.

I am sure you shall continue to support your school like you have so wonderfully done in the past.
